A pandocheion is a wayside inn — a stone room with a hearth, a stable, and a host who has seen worse weather than this. Tonight there are three travellers in from the snow, a corpse in the back room, and a story that doesn't add up. Before the blizzard breaks, someone here will have to admit what they know.
